Our Mission
Point Loma Arts Academy is founded on the belief that the arts provide a window to the soul. We place our emphasis on nurturing imagination and creative freedom while fostering an appreciation for art, music, nature, and community.

Guided by educator Maria Montessori’s philosophy that “play is the work of children”, Point Loma Arts Academy offers a unique approach to art-making rooted in curiosity, exploration, and the joy of play. We honor the artistic ability present in everyone and believe that as children grow in their creative experiences, they deepen their ability to see the art in the world all around them.
